About the Picture…

One evening, while strolling, this creeper thriving around a cactus plant caught my attention and I was reminded of the phrase “Thriving among thorns” which is a powerful reminder that success is possible even in the face of adversity.  It inspires us to keep pushing forward, even when things get tough, and to see challenges as opportunities for growth.

By embracing the obstacles in our lives, we can learn valuable lessons and become stronger individuals. The image of a plant thriving in a thorny environment is a symbol of hope and resilience, reminding us that we too can overcome our obstacles and flourish.

In life, the presence of individuals characterised by negative behaviours and influences are draining and often destructive and they present a significant challenge at home and work. But as God’s creation, we have the capacity to flourish and prosper even when confronted with obstacles. This metaphor inspires us to persevere in the face of challenges and to view them as occasions for personal development.
